Yep, Fresh off their latest gig at The Johnny Mack Brown High School, YOUR, Saturday Nite Dance Band, known to you as "too MUCH SyLvia", is gonna be playing this Friday March 12, in Charlotte at The Fred Astaire Dance Studio for 2 shows starting @ 8 PM - (We're Movin' On Up!!)
The studio is located on Sharon Amity just off Independence Blvd. Very cool . . . . . we played for their regional meeting of the dance instructors, a few weeks ago. Of course it's a GREAT dance floor!! You will be able to see & actually dance w/some pros if you like, in a very casual setting - - Even Mama can do the Rumba!!!!
Again, open to the public and it's B.Y.O.B. - - - - - - Light hors d'oeuvres provided along with beer and wine, but you may also bring your own.

Bill and Chris will play blues harps with a crack rhythm section. Chris is a virtuoso harmonica player who's played with Big Boy Henry, Champion Jack Dupree and Sonny Terry, he was the 1975 World Harmonica Champion. Bill has been playing in the area for 30 years, with bands including Rebecca & the Hi-Tones and his Big Blues Quartet, and he's recorded with the Indigo Girls and a number of other artists. PBPS presents Blues Foundation Keeping the Blues Alive Winner Fruteland Jackson in Concert
Greensboro Cultural Art Center, 200 N. Davie St., Downtown Greensboro
The PBPS is proud to bring America's premiere Blues educator and musician Fruteland Jackson to Greensboro for three days of Blues Education. Tonight's performance is the culmination of this visit as Mr. Jackson brings his talents to the public.
The show will be held in the fabulous acoustics of Rehearsal Hall of Greensboro's Cultural Center on N. Davie St. Seating is theater style with seats on risers. So the audience will be treated to great sound and great sight lines.

24th Annual Carolina Blues Festival
The Piedmont Blues Preservation Society is proud to announce the 24th Annual Carolina Blues Festival. The longest running Blues festival in the Southeast returns on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Festival Park in downtown Greensboro.
The line-up will be announced at our press release party on Wednesday, March 24 at 5pm EDT at Cafe Europa (located at
200 N Davie Street in downtown Greensboro). It's gonna be great this year, folks! Stay tuned for all the details!
