PBPS Moves to New Offices

As part of the expansion of its mission and activities, the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society is moving to new, larger offices in the Self-Help Credit Union building in Downtown Greensboro.

“We’re building intern programs, we’re building volunteer trainings, and we’re building a content creation studio,” said PBPS President Atiba Berkley during a tour of the new office space on the fifth floor. “It’s so amazing this opportunity that we have.”

The new space consists of four offices and a small waiting room, compared to the single small office that the organization had occupied before.

“I want to thank our board of trustees and our membership for trusting yet another volunteer to make a difference in the community,” said Berkley of the decision to move. “It’s going to be a really, really fun year for us.”
