Our Memphis or Bust Benefit is a great send-off party for the winners of the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society’s Blues Challenge held every year in the Fall. Independent judges spend time listening to Bands and Solo/Duo competitors from throughout the region, searching for the top contenders in each category to send to Memphis, TN to compete in the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge, held each year in late January and early February.

Blues Challenge winners are the entertainment at the Memphis or Bust Benefit which the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society holds to raise money to help the musicians on their way to Memphis. Silent Auctions, Raffles, donations and tips are all part of the festivities to help say ‘Bon Voyage’ to these talented musicians.
